Meet Tommy
Father of 3, author,
and mental health advocate.
"I’m a life student, but I know my calling is serving others. That’s where I feel most confident & fulfilled... it’s where I thrive. Over the years, I’ve been drawn to helping others; that support is as broad as inspiration/help/advice. As minute as being an extra pair of hands to help with a move or returning to work the back of a kitchen at my first job. During that time, I didn’t know what to call it... how to identify what I was feeling... and then it clicked. I started writing about my passions, my thoughts, and curious wonderings about our society. I founded Tommy Talks with a mission to give others a taste of what goes on in my mind. I find that all of us are more alike than we are different. Similarities in the roles we find ourselves assigned to in life — spouse, parent, child, friend. Similarities in life experiences — child abuse, mental health challenges, personal creativity & growth. Differences of opinion, beliefs & behaviors. All meaningful, all worth exploring & having a dialogue about. My dream is that each of you walk away feeling more centered & more in tune with who YOU are. Perhaps, if you find yourself traveling the same path I have... you might even find your calling. Be well."
